Motor fleet insurance for De BUCH
Summary
The procurement is for insurance cover for De BUCH’s fleet of 125 vehicles, comprising passenger cars, vans, trucks, and one moped or scooter. De BUCH is the joint working organisation for the municipalities of Bergen, Uitgeest, Castricum and Heiloo. The required cover includes motor third-party liability, comprehensive cover, work-equipment risk, legal expenses and occupant accident insurance, with an insured amount of EUR 1,000,000 per event. The vehicle-by-vehicle cover and allocation must be set out in the price and vehicle schedules; the territorial scope follows the countries listed on the Green Card. Bids must quote fixed premiums by vehicle category, without a bonus-malus adjustment. The award is based on the lowest annual total premium, exclusive of insurance tax. A bidder that is not a direct-writing insurer must allow for a 10% brokerage-services surcharge. The contract starts on 1 January 2027 and runs until 1 January 2029, with two possible mutual extensions of 12 months each. Submit the bid electronically via TenderNed in Dutch by 19 November 2026 at 12:00. Required bid documents include a completed European Single Procurement Document, a signed price schedule and the vehicle schedule. The bidder must hold authorisation to conduct insurance business; when using an authorised agent, the agent must also hold the relevant authorisation.
