Commercial waste management

Summary

The municipality of Purmerend is procuring a single contract for commercial waste management from municipal locations. The scope covers supplying and maintaining containers, scheduled and on-call collection, transport and compliant processing or destruction of separated waste streams, certified destruction of confidential data carriers, a digital waste-management portal, reporting, sustainability advice and possible additional services on request. The contract is planned for four years from 1 January 2027, with up to four one-year extensions. The supplier must ensure regular service continuity, provide the portal fully operational by 1 February 2027, support team-based reporting and invoicing, and comply with all applicable permits, legislation and safety requirements. The bid must be submitted in Dutch through TenderNed by 27 October 2026 at 10:00. Evaluation uses the best price-quality ratio: implementation plan 30%, service quality 50%, and sustainability and circularity 20%. Price is included through the submitted tariff sheet and the value-based evaluation method.
