Waste management services

Summary

The tender covers waste management services for 22 Veiligheidsregio Haaglanden locations, including collection, transport and sustainable processing of waste and the supply, installation, cleaning and maintenance of collection equipment. The service covers commercial and residual waste, paper and cardboard, confidential paper, glass, fats, small chemical waste, vehicle-workshop oils and aerosols, as well as on-demand destruction of archival documents and container hire. The contract starts on 1 February 2027, has an initial term of two years and may be extended three times by two years. Tenders must be submitted by 19 November 2026 at 10:00. Participation requires a signed ESPD, professional liability insurance of at least EUR 1,250,000 per claim, unqualified audit opinions for the two most recent financial years, commercial register evidence, a reference project covering at least 20 locations, and ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certificates or equivalent systems. Tenders are evaluated on the best price-quality ratio: price carries up to 60 points, while implementation, service delivery, sustainable operations and the sustainability case each carry up to 10 points.
