Water quality action plan – accelerating the KRW task for municipal sewer overflows

Summary

The tender concerns project support for municipalities in accelerating measures under the Water Framework Directive, including the remediation of municipal sewer overflows into surface water in accordance with applicable guidelines and ecological assessment. The Province of Limburg intends to select one expert contractor per lot on behalf of the participating municipalities and conclude framework agreements for the lots. There are five lots, with a total estimated value of EUR 1,500,000 and an estimated value of EUR 300,000 per lot. The initial contract period is 7 December 2026 to 6 December 2027, with one possible extension. Bids may be submitted for up to five lots and may be awarded for up to five lots. The submission deadline is 13 October 2026 at 12:00.
