Rental of waste collection vehicles

Summary

The tender concerns a multi-supplier framework agreement for renting waste collection vehicles for the Municipality of Almere. When a vehicle is needed, the municipality will request quotations and run a mini-competition among the framework suppliers. The framework may include up to four operators and has a maximum term of four years: two fixed years followed by two possible one-year extensions. The estimated value is approximately EUR 150,000 per year excluding VAT. The supplier must be able to provide all specified vehicle types, either directly or through a third party, and must act as the single point of contact. Vehicles must meet the detailed technical specifications, Dutch legislation, NEN-EN 1501-2 and Directive 2006/42/EC, and must be no more than 30 months old at the start of the rental period. The bid must be submitted electronically by 5 October 2026 at 09:00. No bid guarantee is required and variants are not allowed. Quality accounts for 40% of the evaluation and price for 60%; price is assessed only in the mini-competitions, subject to the applicable ceiling rates.
