Ammonia reduction measures validation through research for sector-wide application (Project VAMOS)
Summary
The tender concerns a three-lot project to validate ammonia-reducing feed and management measures in livestock farming and to carry out continuous emission measurements in naturally ventilated and mechanically ventilated barns. Lot 1 covers validation of feed/management measures for selected animal categories; lots 2 and 3 cover measurement services for naturally ventilated and mechanically ventilated barns. The contract is an open EU procedure run fully via TenderNed. The total contract value is up to EUR 8,000,000. The contract period runs from 20 November 2026 to 31 December 2028, with two possible one-year extensions. Bidders must submit a signed UEA, accept the procurement documents and the provincial terms, and comply with the exclusion grounds. The tender also requires a declaration of no Russian involvement and may involve a Bibob integrity check. For lot 1, bidders must provide a valid liability insurance, relevant experience in validating emission-reducing measures, and a certified quality system. For lots 2 and/or 3, bidders must also have relevant measurement experience, ISO/IEC 17025 or VLAREL or an equivalent quality system, and an ISO 27001-based information security certificate or equivalent.
