Routine Road Maintenance in Mazozolu Parish in 2027

Summary

The contract covers routine road maintenance in Mazozolu Parish, Ogre Municipality, during 2027. Winter tasks include clearing snow from road sections and reducing slipperiness. Summer tasks include replacing culverts, restoring and grading gravel surfaces, cleaning roadside ditches, mowing brush and grass, dust suppression, and repairing potholes. Indicative quantities include 600 km of snow clearing, 40 km of anti-skid work, 190 km of road-surface grading and 300 m³ of gravel-surface restoration, as well as other items listed in the technical specification; actual quantities may vary. The contractor will carry out work when instructed by the contracting authority, use suitable equipment, and comply with quality, traffic-safety and environmental requirements. The 2027 contract is capped at EUR 35,500 excluding VAT. The authority may award two further contracts on the same terms, bringing the aggregate cap to EUR 106,500 excluding VAT, with the repeat contracts running no later than 31 December 2029. Payment is for work actually performed. The procurement has one lot, and bids must cover the full scope. Bids must be submitted electronically by 9:00 on 6 November 2026. The contract is awarded on the basis of the lowest price; in the event of equal total prices, the lower price for clearing a separate road lane of snow takes precedence. The bidder must have the required registration, at least EUR 10,000 worth of qualifying completed road, street or square maintenance experience, and at least one positive client reference. A responsible construction manager holding a valid road construction management certificate must lead the works. The technical offer must explain the bidder’s ability to perform the work and its quality-control arrangements, and list the equipment to be used. Detailed price schedules for winter and summer work must also be submitted; unit prices remain fixed for the contract term.
