Tender detail
ALAAS vehicle CASCO and compulsory motor liability insurance services
Summary
SIA ALAAS is procuring insurance for its vehicles in two separate lots: voluntary comprehensive motor insurance (CASCO) and compulsory motor third-party liability insurance (OCTA). Bidders may tender for either or both lots, and the contract will run for 12 months. CASCO cover must include, among other things, road accidents, fire, natural events, theft and vandalism, as well as damage to vehicle glass, mirrors and lights. Vehicles must be insured at market value, including additional equipment; the insured amount for additional equipment must be at least 20% of the vehicle’s insured amount. The specification also sets maximum deductibles: up to EUR 350 for damage to trucks and EUR 140 for damage to passenger cars. OCTA cover applies in the European Union and European Economic Area, with wider territorial cover to be made available on the customer’s request through a Green Card. Bidders must submit a compliant technical offer and a financial offer stating the 12-month premium for each vehicle. For the CASCO lot, the premium is worth up to 70 points and technical enhancements up to 30 points; for the OCTA lot, price is the only award criterion. Offers must be submitted electronically through EIS by 19 October 2026 at 10:00. Bidders must be duly registered and authorised to provide insurance services, including holding a valid Latvian licence for every insurance class included in the offer.
