Training Healthcare Professionals for Specialisation
Summary
The procurement comprises three separate training-service lots for healthcare professionals seeking specialisation: diabetes patient education methods in nursing practice (24 participants, 15 months), oncology patient care in nursing practice (30 participants, 18 months), and qualification as an outpatient medical assistant (50 participants, 24 months). Bidders may tender for one, several or all lots. Training must be delivered in Latvia through a licensed professional-development programme for the relevant lot, and the first group must start within five months of contract signature. Lots 1 and 2 include at least 64 and 120 academic hours of clinical training respectively; Lot 3 requires at least 600 academic hours per group. The provider must organise recruitment and attendance records, provide qualified staff and suitable facilities, conduct the required final assessments, and issue state-recognised certificates. Price determines the award. Bidders need experience delivering adult vocational education programmes, the required educational-institution registration, and a programme that is licensed or can be licensed in time for the relevant lot. For Lots 1 and 2, the bidder must have an arrangement with at least one suitable healthcare institution for clinical training at the time of submission and provide specialists who meet the stated requirements. Bids must be submitted electronically through Latvia's procurement system by 10:00 on 19 October 2026. The tender documents specify the detailed lot requirements and evidence to submit.
