Purchase of electricity

Summary

The tender concerns the purchase and balancing of electricity for the contracting authority’s sites in Latvia. The estimated consumption is 1,200 MWh, but the actual volume may change according to need. The contract period is planned for 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2027, or until the contract ceiling of EUR 130,000 excluding VAT is used, whichever comes first; the period may be extended if the ceiling has not been used. There is one lot and each bidder may submit only one offer for the full scope. The award criterion is the lowest fixed price per 1 kWh excluding VAT. The price must include balancing, invoicing, payment processing, applicable taxes and other electricity trading costs, but excludes VAT and system transmission and distribution tariffs. No tender guarantee is required. Offers must be submitted electronically by 21 September 2026 and in Latvian.
