Health insurance for RB Rail AS employees in Lithuania and Estonia

Summary

The procurement covers voluntary health insurance services for RB Rail AS employees for 12 months, from 1 January to 31 December 2027. It is divided into two lots: approximately 32 employees in Lithuania (Lot 1) and 21 employees in Estonia (Lot 2); the actual number insured may be lower or higher depending on the contracting authority’s needs. A tenderer may apply for either or both lots, but must cover the full scope of each lot applied for. Coverage must include, among other services, outpatient care, hospital treatment, preventive health checks, vaccination, rehabilitation and dental treatment. The Lithuania lot also includes, among other services, pregnancy and childbirth care, with coverage valid around the clock in Lithuania. The Estonia lot requires a total insured sum of at least EUR 4,900 per person per year. The insurer must provide electronic insurance cards; for the Estonia lot, claims guidance must be available in Estonian and English, and claims must be paid within three months after the insurance period ends. The estimated contract ceiling, excluding VAT, is EUR 20,072 for Lithuania and EUR 12,705 for Estonia. The annual premium per person must not exceed EUR 627.25 for Lithuania or EUR 605 for Estonia. Proposals for each lot are scored out of 100 points, taking insurance coverage and premium into account. Tenderers must meet turnover, experience, authorisation and contract-manager English-language requirements. Proposals must be submitted electronically in English or Latvian; a Latvian proposal must include an English translation.
