Provision of demonstrations in the crop production sector

Summary

The open tender concerns the provision and implementation of agricultural demonstrations across Latvia under the 2023–2027 Common Agricultural Policy Strategic Plan. There are two lots: the effectiveness of different liming materials in arable crops, and maintaining optimal soil pH in legume–grass swards. The demonstrations must compare at least existing practice with new alternatives, include field work, evaluation and dissemination of results, and be completed no later than 31 August 2029, with implementation planned no earlier than January 2027. Offers must be submitted electronically by 25 September 2026. The maximum eligible cost is EUR 25,000 excluding VAT per demonstration year, and the award is based on price and geographical coverage across Latvia’s planning regions.
