Ten-year concession to operate the company headquarters bar

Summary

This tender grants a ten-year concession to operate the bar inside AMTAB’s company headquarters in Bari. The concessionaire must prepare and sell food and drinks, fit out the premises provided for use, and bear the operational risks of running the bar. In general, the bar must open Monday to Saturday from 5:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.; when AMTAB holds events, service may also be required at other times and on rest days. The offer must include a varied range of products, such as coffee and soft drinks, sandwiches, baked goods and other food. Alcohol sales are prohibited. Prices must be competitive with those generally found on the market, and potable water must be provided for food preparation. The estimated total concession value for ten years is €690,000 excluding VAT. The concessionaire must pay an annual fee of at least €19,200 excluding VAT, and the financial offer must state a higher annual amount. AMTAB’s estimates of revenue and customer numbers are indicative only and do not guarantee income to the concessionaire. The technical offer is worth 70 points and the financial offer 30 points. To participate, bidders must demonstrate a relevant business registration, global turnover of at least €200,000 in the three best years of 2021–2025, and performance of similar contracts during the previous ten years. A management and financial plan must accompany the tender. Bidders must also provide a €13,800 tender guarantee and pay the €77 ANAC contribution. The operator must apply the collective agreement for the public catering sector or an agreement with equivalent protections, hold the necessary professional qualification, and meet occupational safety, HACCP, cleaning, maintenance and environmental criteria. Where applicable, at least 30% of the hires needed for the contract must be young people and at least 30% must be women.
