Supply of water tanker trucks to address the water emergency in Agrigento province

Summary

AICA is procuring eight water tanker trucks to help address the water emergency in Agrigento province: five vehicles with 6,000-litre tanks and three with 2,000-litre tanks, all made of AISI 316L stainless steel. The vehicles are intended to transport and deliver potable water and must include the equipment described in the technical documents, including a pump. The estimated contract value is EUR 767,000 excluding VAT, and the procurement is not divided into lots. The supplier must present a fully equipped prototype of each vehicle type within 60 days of the start of performance. Within 60 days after prototype acceptance, the supplier must deliver a further four 6,000-litre vehicles and two 2,000-litre vehicles. The vehicles must undergo the required conformity checks, be registered in Italy and be delivered to AICA. The submission deadline is 31 October 2026 at 23:59. Technical quality carries up to 80 points and price up to 20 points. To participate, a bidder must be registered in the relevant business register, demonstrate the required turnover and provide evidence of comparable previous supply experience. The bid must include a provisional guarantee of EUR 15,340, payment of the EUR 77 ANAC fee, a technical report, dimensioned vehicle drawings, and a description of the maintenance and service network. Vehicles must meet the technical, safety and environmental requirements in the tender documents. The required administrative documents must also be submitted, and the bid must remain valid for 180 days.
