Excavation and treatment of three contaminated soil areas and partial confinement of a contaminated area

Summary

The contract covers excavation and treatment of concentrated soil contamination in three areas of the former Bonna-Sabla industrial site, together with confinement of part of a contaminated area at Ecoparc du Vernay in Nivolas-Vermelle. The works include screening and testing soil, transporting contaminated soil to a bioremediation facility, reusing suitable material to backfill excavations and reinstate platforms, and constructing a confinement cover of approximately 400 m² using geotextile, an HDPE geomembrane and a drainage layer. The covered area must then receive plantable soil and be grassed by hydroseeding. The estimated excavation volume is 1,800 m³, excavation associated with securing the pits is 1,700 m³, and contaminated soil removal is approximately 1,620 tonnes. The bid must include the required evidence of the company’s financial, technical and professional capacity, completed pricing documents, and a technical method statement describing the work organisation, resources, methods, safety and environmental measures, and schedule. A site visit is compulsory on 14 October 2026 at 10:00, and the visit certificate must be included with the bid. Bids are due electronically by 26 October 2026 at 12:00. The contract is not divided into lots and variants are not allowed. Price accounts for 60% of the evaluation, technical quality for 35%, and the environmental criterion for 5%. Work is expected to start in November 2026.
