Summary

The Energy Regulatory Commission is commissioning a European benchmark, including the United Kingdom, on electricity network tariff types and the methodologies used to design tariff structures. The study will examine injection tariffs, methods for calculating withdrawal charges and tariff schedules, and new pricing practices that support flexibility. Deliverables are a detailed report and a summary of the main findings. The single contract is not divided into lots, is estimated at EUR 80,000–100,000, and runs for 10 calendar weeks from the kick-off meeting.
