The Louvre is procuring high-definition photographic documentation of 24 monumental paintings in Peter Paul Rubens’s Marie de’ Medici cycle during their restoration in Paris. The images will document each stage of the restoration and faithfully show the condition of the works; 19 paintings are large or very large, with a surface area exceeding 11 m².
