Rapid service trials related to dual-use technologies

Summary

This tender concerns the implementation of service pilots in the field of security and defense for dual-use technologies. Bidders are invited to submit ideas and proposals for service pilots that help develop and test new dual-use technologies in real-use environments with end users. The aim is to promote sustainable innovation in security, defense, and dual-use technologies, enhance the competitiveness, internationalization, and growth of companies, and foster collaboration between universities and businesses. The service pilots are intended to support the development of new dual-use solutions and verify their applicability in real-use settings. Proposals should relate to one or more challenges described in Section 2 and describe ideas and technical approaches in Section 3. A service pilot may include software, hardware, sensors, data transmission, artificial intelligence solutions, energy systems, autonomous systems, simulations, digital twins, or their combinations. The solution does not need to be a finished product but must be immediately testable in a real-use environment within an agreed scope (TRL 5–7).
