Aerial forest-fire surveillance in Northern Finland 2027

Finland’s Ministry of the Interior is procuring aerial forest-fire surveillance and other rescue-service flights in Northern Finland for 2027. The services cover three routes, numbered 23–25, and include surveillance flights, flights to assess smoke sightings and damage from floods, storms or oil spills, incident-command flights, and other operational flights such as surveys or transport of personnel and equipment. The planned contract period is one year, with the contracts intended to take effect on 1 January 2027.
