Animal welfare pellets and briquettes

Summary

The tender concerns the production of animal welfare pellets and briquettes for bedding for pigs, goats/sheep, and cats, based on biomass from Niedermoorflächen and alfalfa. The contract covers obtaining baled biomass, processing, making biomass mixtures with varying lucerne contents, and producing at least 600 kg of Tierwohl pellets per mixture with an 8 mm diameter, totaling at least 5,400 kg of pellets. It also includes producing mixtures with lucerne contents from 0% to 50%, and producing at least 100 kg of Tierwohl briquettes with a 60 mm diameter per biomass mixture, totaling at least 1,800 kg of briquettes. Quality checks include density, pH, absorbency, and four urine profiles according to ISO 17190-5, with delivery to Max-Eyth-Allee 100, 14469 Potsdam; completion by 15 November 2026.
