Supervision services for the construction of an auxiliary icebreaker: deck department supervisor

Summary

The procurement is for a deck department supervisor for the construction of an auxiliary icebreaker. The supervisor will work full-time, overseeing the vessel’s basic and construction design and its construction in relation to the deck department, bridge and general arrangement. The supervisor will represent the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency and work with the newbuilding supervision team and the contracting authority’s project organisation. The contract includes an option for continued support from delivery of the vessel until the end of its warranty period.
