Radiotherapy dosimetry equipment

Summary

The tender covers two new dosimetry equipment systems for the radiotherapy unit of Sairaala Nova in the Central Finland Wellbeing Services County. The equipment will be used for quality control of three Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators and for stereotactic radiotherapy measurements. The first item is a water phantom with the necessary detectors, electrometer compatibility, software and licences for measuring photon and electron depth-dose curves, radiation-field profiles and absolute dose. The second item is a phantom-based matrix measurement system for SRT/SBRT patient measurements, comparison with patient-specific dose plans and visual and quantitative assessment, including gamma analysis. The total price of both systems must not exceed EUR 150,000 excluding VAT. The equipment must be new and the supply must include installation, commissioning and user training. Optional items may also be offered; their prices must remain valid in 2026–2027, but the contracting authority is not obliged to purchase them. Multiple offers are permitted, and one supplier will be selected. The tender deadline is 9 October 2026.
