Information request: RFID-based charging service for electric vehicles

Summary

This is not a contract notice or an invitation to submit a tender, but a market survey by the wellbeing services county of Southwest Finland concerning charging solutions for electric vehicles. The service under consideration should enable charging to be identified using a physical RFID identifier without the user's personal payment card or mobile application, support centralized retrospective billing of charging events, and allow identifiers to be managed in an environment with multiple users and vehicles. The authority also wishes to assess charging across charging stations operated by different charging operators and networks. Companies must answer the questions in Annex 1 by 23 September 2026 at 12:00; brochures may be attached and information containing trade secrets may be identified. Participation does not require the authority to conduct a subsequent procurement and does not make the participant's response binding.
