Market Consultation for an International Public Relations and Destination Branding Partnership

Summary

This is a market consultation preceding a possible procurement for an international public relations and destination branding partnership for Visit Turku Archipelago, the regional tourism development and marketing company for Turku and the Turku Archipelago in Southwest Finland. The consultation seeks information from market operators about available service models, the appropriate scope of the services and their possible implementation. The planned partnership would support international marketing and also effective domestic marketing, with the aim of increasing destination awareness, desirability, discussion, recommendations and earned visibility, thereby supporting sustainable and year-round tourism growth. The planned contract period is two years, with a possible two-year extension at the contracting authority’s discretion. Approximately EUR 1 million has been budgeted, and the contract is planned to begin in winter or spring 2027. Interested companies are invited to review the preliminary procurement description and answer the questions in the consultation materials. Responses may be submitted in English or Finnish by 6 October 2026.
