Information request – Turku city printing services

Summary

This is a market information request, not a contract notice or request for tenders. The City of Turku is preparing a possible comprehensive printing services solution and is collecting information on current service models, technologies and cost structures. The current scope covers 204 sites, 7,866 staff members, 752 printers (423 multifunction devices, 326 printers and 3 large-format printers) and approximately 13,365,000 pages per year, with a 77/23 black-and-white to colour ratio. Relevant capabilities include secure printing with RFID or PIN release, scanning directly to cloud services, mobile printing and printing with Koha library cards. Responses are to be submitted through the designated online environment by 5 October 2026 at 08:00 UTC. Responding is not a prerequisite for participating in any later procurement.
