Procurement of fresh produce and potatoes

Summary

The procurement establishes a dynamic purchasing system for fresh produce and potatoes for the kitchens of the Etelä-Pohjanmaa wellbeing services county and Kokkaamo Ateriapalvelut Oy. The fresh produce lot covers pre-processed vegetables, chopped fresh fruit, and whole vegetables and fruit. The potato lot covers potatoes and potato products, including peeled mash and portion potatoes as well as potato strips, cubes and slices. The dynamic purchasing system will operate for approximately five years, with an estimated total value of EUR 3,000,000 excluding VAT; however, the contracting authority does not guarantee any quantities or purchasing obligation. Suppliers must first submit a request to participate and be admitted to the system. Only admitted suppliers may participate in the internal competitions, which will generally be held about once a year. Requests to participate may be submitted throughout the duration of the system. The fresh produce and potato lots are separate, and the internal competitions for potatoes will be divided into geographical areas.
