Reception and recovery of septic tank and cesspit sludge

The tender concerns the reception, treatment and recovery of septic tank and cesspit sludge, as well as other sludge generated in residential properties and covered by the municipality’s statutory waste-management responsibility. The sludge is collected from septic tanks, cesspools, small treatment plants and other similar tanks or treatment systems. The contract also covers business sludge accepted under the municipality’s secondary waste-management service; sludge normally generated by industrial, agricultural or other commercial activities is excluded.
