An Anechoic Radio Frequency (RF) Chamber

Summary

The procurement concerns the design, supply, construction and installation of an anechoic radio-frequency chamber for wireless communications research at Tampere University’s Hervanta Campus, Sähkötalo building. The chamber will support over-the-air antenna measurements and be integrated into the WICO research environment. The maximum budget is EUR 500,000 excluding VAT, and tenders must be submitted by 7 September 2026 at 09:00. The selected supplier must promptly carry out a site survey after contract signature, coordinate site access with the main construction contractor and complete mandatory site safety training before entering the site. Construction is expected to take place in spring and summer 2027 after the building renovation is completed.
