Visitor services and interpretation at the Neila Glacial Lakes Natural Park visitor centre, 2027–2028

Summary

The Fundación del Patrimonio Natural de Castilla y León is procuring operation of the Casa del Parque visitor centre at the Lagunas Glaciares de Neila Natural Park in Neila, Burgos, for 2027–2028. The service covers visitor reception and information, guided interpretation, environmental education and activities, visitor reports and educational materials, management of the centre’s shop and vending machines, and basic cleaning and maintenance. The centre is scheduled to open for 1,150 hours over 192 days each year; the service also includes annual hour allowances for group visits (118 hours), reports and extended opening (26 hours), environmental volunteering (29 hours) and maintenance and cleaning (185 hours). The contract runs for 24 months, with an option to extend it by up to 12 months, and is not divided into lots.
