Inerting the underground B-grade diesel tank at EVA 11 in Alcalá de los Gazules

Summary

Spain’s Ministry of Defence is procuring the inerting of a single-wall, 50,000-litre underground B-grade diesel tank at the EVA 11 Air Surveillance Squadron site in Alcalá de los Gazules. The work includes removing the tank manway, cleaning and degassing the tank, handling and transporting the remaining fuel and up to 800 kg of waste to a recycling facility, verifying the absence of an explosive atmosphere and issuing an inerting certificate, filling the tank with polyurethane foam, and modifying the return pipe. The work must be completed within 30 days from the day after contract award and no later than 30 November 2026. The contract is not divided into lots and has a budget of EUR 40,165.84 including VAT.
