Technical consultancy for the preliminary design of the Rioseco drinking water treatment plant expansion

Summary

The Asturias Water Consortium is procuring technical consultancy to prepare a preliminary design for the expansion of the Rioseco drinking water treatment plant. The work includes an alternatives study and the design of the expansion’s production capacity and water-treatment technology; the combined capacity of the expanded and existing plants must be at least 4,500 litres per second. The project is intended to meet drinking-water quality requirements and serve the central region’s water demand while the existing plant is renovated.
