Consumables and RFID identification devices compatible with the GEA transfusion safety system

Summary

The procurement covers six types of consumables compatible with the GEA transfusion safety system, supplied by a single contractor to support traceable identification of patients, blood samples and transfusion activity: transfusion wristbands with and without RFID, uncoded RFID wristbands, wristband extensions, RFID location beacons and RFID staff-identification labels. Bids must cover all six items; the contract is not divided into lots. Estimated quantities for 2027 are 150,000, 50,000, 2,000, 1,000, 4,000 and 5,000 units respectively. Maximum unit prices excluding VAT, in the same order, are €0.95, €0.90, €0.95, €0.20, €2.90 and €0.31. Quantities are estimates; orders will reflect actual needs and must respect the minimum order quantity for each item. The initial contract term is one year starting in 2027, with up to four successive one-year extensions for 2028–2031. The 2027 budget including VAT is €245,327.50; the estimated total contract value including extensions and potential modifications is €1,054,300 excluding VAT. Bidders must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity, offer every item, and submit the technical documentation and samples specified. Offers are evaluated on price (65 points) and technical quality (35 points); the minimum technical score is 17.5 points.
