Works to adapt the Infrastructure and Assets offices at Barcelona Olympic Port

Summary

The contract covers phase 2 of the adaptation works for the Infrastructure and Assets offices of Barcelona Municipal Services at Barcelona Olympic Port. The works include completing the work area for the second department in section C, including the internal layout, finishes and building services needed to put the space into operation. They also include changes to the shared area in section B, completed during phase 1, and reuse of the existing infrastructure and pre-installed services. Required legalisation of installations and related works is to be updated. The contract is not divided into lots. The works are scheduled for 14 weeks from the day after signature of the site-setting-out inspection record; the contract may last up to 20 weeks to accommodate issues arising during execution. No extensions are allowed. The tender budget is capped at EUR 481,056.09 excluding VAT, and bids must not exceed it. Price accounts for up to 40 points; the other 60 points include shortening the schedule by up to four weeks, providing a full-time assistant to the works manager, producing a time-lapse video, keeping the foreman on site until snagging is complete, and the distance to the waste-management or recovery facility. Bidders must meet the qualification, staffing and evidence requirements and submit their bids electronically. Final site cleaning must be carried out through a protected employment centre and/or by employing people who face particular barriers to employment.
