Renovation of Gallecs Square and creation of an inclusive play area

Summary

The contract covers the renewal of Gallecs Square in Parets del Vallès and its transformation into an accessible, inclusive children’s play area. The works include removing the existing play equipment, installing new inclusive equipment, improving the surfacing and creating an accessible circulation route. They also include adapted picnic tables, benches and bins, renovation of the existing fountain, information signs, demarcation of spaces and replacement of the perimeter fence. Necessary earthworks, demolition, masonry and plumbing works, as well as quality and safety measures, are also included. The contract is not divided into lots. The budget is EUR 60,483.71 including VAT. The works must be completed within 90 calendar days from the day after the setting-out inspection record is signed. Bids must be submitted electronically in a single envelope, within 10 working days from the day after the contract notice is published. Offers are evaluated automatically: price is worth up to 54 points; the completion period may be shortened by up to 20 days for up to 4 points; the three-year minimum warranty may be extended by up to three full years for up to 6 points; and materials with a lower environmental impact can earn up to 36 points if the required evidence is supplied. Tenderers must declare that they are eligible to contract and that their tax and social security obligations are up to date. The bid must include a responsible declaration and a price offer. Economic and technical capacity does not have to be evidenced at bid submission, but the contracting authority may check it during performance for the successful tenderer. The successful tenderer must hold civil liability insurance of at least EUR 500,000. Before work starts, it must submit a work schedule and a health and safety plan, and provide at least four hours of training for personnel assigned to the works.
