Services and Supplies for Tarragona’s 2026 Christmas and Craft Fairs

Summary

The contract covers the services and supplies required to install, operate and dismantle Tarragona’s 2026 Christmas Fair and Craft Fair. Both fairs take place on Rambla Nova: the Christmas Fair runs from 4 to 23 December 2026, and the Craft Fair from 4 December 2026 to 6 January 2027. The contract is divided into four separately assessed lots, and bidders may tender for one or more lots. The lots are: (1) rental of 30 sales booths with a window and lock for the Craft Fair—18 booths measuring 5 × 2.5 m and 12 measuring 3 × 2.5 m; (2) design, installation, legalisation and maintenance of the electrical systems for both fairs; (3) rental of generators, including installation, maintenance and diesel—two operating generators and two standby units; and (4) Christmas decoration and styling for the Craft Fair, including installation, maintenance and removal. Generators must meet at least Stage V emissions requirements and automatically switch to standby equipment in the event of a failure. The total tender ceiling is €97,750.19 including VAT. The lot ceilings including VAT are: Lot 1, €61,317.96; Lot 2, €10,794.52; Lot 3, €19,122.67; and Lot 4, €6,515.04. A separate technical memorandum and price offer are required for each lot; the price offer must not exceed that lot’s ceiling. The technical memorandum accounts for up to 20% of the points and automatically assessed criteria for up to 80%; for the generator lot, price accounts for 70% and generator age for 10%. Installation is scheduled for 30 November to 3 December, and the booths must be ready by 14:00 on 2 December. Bidders must demonstrate the required turnover and at least three comparable past assignments. The successful bidder must maintain liability insurance of at least €600,000 and provide a final guarantee of 5% of the award amount.
