Renovation of the changing rooms and sports court at Sant Pere de Torelló municipal sports pavilion

The contract covers construction works for Lot 1 of the municipal sports pavilion project in Sant Pere de Torelló: refurbishing the changing rooms serving the pool and sports court, installing an accessible lift, and renovating the indoor sports court and stands. New changing rooms for the municipal gym are outside this contract. The tender ceiling is €528,271.37 excluding VAT (€110,936.99 VAT; €639,208.36 in total). Bidders must demonstrate the required financial and technical capacity: turnover and professional liability insurance must each be at least €528,271.37, and at least three similar works must have been completed in the last five years. The documents conflict on the completion period: the explanatory document states six months, or 24 weeks, while the contract approval decision states five months. The binding period should be checked in the tender documents. Bidders may earn additional points for up to two extra years of warranty, shortening the completion period by up to two weeks, and offering construction improvements. The listed improvements are replacing eight hot-water fan heaters, supplying 675 m² of protective vinyl flooring with a handling trolley and storage rack, and supplying a 1,000-litre domestic hot-water storage tank. The successful contractor must cooperate with grant reporting and provide the required invoices, audits and measurements; the grant deadlines are 31 December 2026 and 31 December 2027.
