Email protection service for Ajuntament de Calvià

Summary

Calvià City Council is procuring a three-year email protection solution as a software-as-a-service (SaaS) offering, including turnkey deployment, configuration and maintenance. The solution must integrate with Gmail, detect previously unknown threats, protect Google Drive storage and remain fully compatible with Google productivity tools without changing the user experience. After deployment, the email security settings must be reviewed and configured in line with good security practices. The service must ensure continued protection equivalent to or better than the existing Trend Micro solution; depending on the proposed solution, the contract starts on 9 or 28 December 2026. The contract may be extended by one year. It is not divided into lots, and subcontracting is prohibited. The estimated contract price is EUR 71,540 excluding VAT (EUR 86,563.40 including 21% VAT); the estimated total value, including the possible extension and contract modification, is EUR 113,904. Evaluation awards up to 70 points for price, 20 for improvements and 10 for the share of renewable electricity used by the cloud or data-centre infrastructure. Bids must include the total price and prices for additional licences and hours. Additional points may be awarded for extra hours, a manufacturer’s certificate validating the solution’s installation and configuration, and proof of the manufacturer’s highest partnership level. Interested companies must submit a signed confidentiality undertaking to obtain the technical specification. Bids must be submitted electronically with the required signed declarations and offer forms.
