Voluntary Pregnancy Termination Procedures in the Burgos Health Area
Summary
The procurement is for healthcare services providing voluntary termination of pregnancy to patients referred within the Burgos health area. The contract covers individual assessment and the appropriate instrumental or medication-based procedure, necessary tests, anaesthesia, recovery, follow-up and clinical reporting. The estimated volume over 36 months is 312 procedures: 12 medication-based procedures before 50 days of pregnancy and, instrumentally, 180 at up to 12 weeks, 48 at weeks 13–15, 18 at weeks 16–17, 18 at weeks 18–19, 30 at weeks 20–22 and 6 from week 23 onward. Maximum unit prices in the same order are EUR 400, 400, 600, 700, 1,000, 1,200 and 1,600; the prices include required tests, anaesthesia, medication and hospitalisation where necessary. The bidder must operate a centre with a valid healthcare operating authorisation, meet the technical minimum requirements and provide the required specialist team and equipment. Requests must be acknowledged on the same working day and an appointment generally arranged within the following three working days. Services are provided Monday to Friday, 09:00–14:00 and 15:00–21:00. The bid must include the required declarations and procedural protocols and comply with data-protection and information-security requirements. Bidders may offer additional features for evaluation points: psychological or sexological counselling (up to 40 points), Saturday service or daily availability for urgent cases (up to 20 points), and a post-anaesthesia recovery unit (25 points). These are bid enhancements and do not replace the stated minimum requirements.
