Supply of Cleaning Materials and Products to Marbella City Council’s Cleaning Department

Summary

Marbella City Council is seeking cleaning materials and cleaning products for its cleaning department, under a contract divided into two lots. Lot I covers items such as brushes, brooms, dustpans, mops, traffic cones and gloves; Lot II covers cleaning and washing products, air fresheners, microfibre cloths, paper products, hand gel and other listed items. Bidders may submit an offer for one or both lots. Deliveries will be made successively as required by the Council, at the unit prices offered. The supplier is also responsible for transporting and delivering the goods. The contract runs for one year and may be extended up to four times for one year each. The initial budget is €39,709.90 including VAT; the estimated total contract value including possible extensions is €164,090.50 excluding VAT. Offers are evaluated on price (60 points) and product quality (up to 40 points). Quality assessment considers factors including concentration, consumption per use, official environmental certifications, proven performance, durability and hazardous-substance content. Bidders must submit the required product data sheets, safety data sheets for chemical products and photographs required by the technical annexes. Products must bear the CE marking and meet applicable environmental and safety requirements. Qualification thresholds for turnover and comparable past supplies apply separately to each lot. The successful bidder must provide the final guarantee, evidence of tax and social security compliance, and civil liability insurance with sufficient cover.
