Supply and installation of infrastructure for information and prevention points addressing gender-based violence

Summary

The contract covers the supply, installation, fitting-out, maintenance and removal of two temporary information-point stands, each with an area of approximately 12 m² or more and accessible to the public. The stands will provide public information on preventing violence against women. The contractor must also arrange the permits and certificates needed for installation, the electricity connection, graphics, and the necessary equipment and supplies. Each stand must have a public-facing service area and an individual consultation area separated from it. Required items include furniture, an A-rated portable air conditioner, water, a first-aid kit and hygiene supplies. Maintenance includes cleaning at least once a week, separate waste collection, and repairing damage and faults; damaged vinyl graphics must be repaired or replaced within 72 hours of notification. A contact channel must be available for urgent issues affecting safety or use. The work will take place in Barcelona. The stands are expected to be installed for 3–5 months during the summer season, with up to two installation and removal cycles for each stand. The contract runs for up to 9 months from 1 April 2027, or a later start date, until 31 December 2027; the maximum total duration including possible extensions is 45 months. The budget is EUR 52,678.49 including VAT (net EUR 43,535.94). Bids are evaluated on price, split-type air conditioning, emergency cleaning, vinyl repair response time and transport emissions.
