Insurance contract mediation and advisory services

Summary

CIC nanoGUNE is seeking insurance mediation and advisory services. The work includes explaining insurance terms, monitoring policy suitability, providing information, and assisting and advising in the event of claims. If required, the provider will also support the procurement of insurance policies and the assessment of insurers’ bids, and will appoint a single contact person. Urgent requests must be answered within 24 hours. The initial contract term is three years, with extensions of up to two additional years. Payment takes the form of commission calculated on insurance premiums. Bidders must offer commission rates of 20–25% for property damage, civil liability, directors’ liability and visiting researchers’ accident insurance, and 6–10% for industrial vehicle insurance. The technical proposal is worth up to 50 points, while the financial bid and other criteria assessed by formula are worth up to 50 points. A technical score of at least 25 points is required to continue in the procedure. Bidders must meet the registration, turnover, quality, experience and staffing requirements for insurance intermediaries.
