Snow removal and salting service for public roads in Eskoriatza

Summary

The contract covers cleaning municipal roads, tracks and public access routes in Eskoriatza, removing snow and spreading salt to keep routes passable in winter. Municipal roads serving farmsteads have priority. Work is ordered by the municipality as weather conditions require, so the actual volume is not known in advance. The service must be available 24 hours a day and requires two tractors equipped with snowploughs, blades and salt spreaders, together with at least one off-road support vehicle. The contract runs for two years, covering the autumn and winter seasons of 2026–2027 and 2027–2028. The estimated total value is €36,600 excluding VAT, with a maximum annual budget of €18,300 excluding VAT; neither the actual workload nor use of the full budget is guaranteed. Price is the sole award criterion and carries up to 100 points. To participate, bidders must demonstrate professional liability insurance of at least €250,000 and provide evidence of relevant road-cleaning and snow-removal services from the previous five years, details and supporting evidence for suitable equipment and materials, and information about any intended subcontracting.
