Renewal of Several Water-Supply Network Sections in Eibar

Summary

The contract covers the renewal of several water-supply networks and service connections in Eibar, together with the installation of control meters in irrigation systems. On Urki Kurutzekua, Polonia Etxeberria and Errekatxu streets, old fibre-cement pipes will be replaced with ductile-iron pipes while retaining the existing nominal diameters and optimising the route. A section of the sewer network between properties 20 and 26 on Polonia Etxeberria will also be renewed. Water connections at Jardines de Argatxa 1–21 will be replaced or renewed, and meters will be installed in several irrigation systems in Eibar. The works must be completed within 24 weeks. The bid submission deadline is 23 October 2026 at 11:00. The base budget is EUR 489,747.03 including VAT, and the estimated contract value is EUR 404,749.61 excluding VAT. The price offer is worth up to 95 points; a commitment to provide at least two hours of equality training to the staff carrying out the contract is worth up to 5 points. The successful bidder must provide a final performance guarantee of 5% of the contract award amount, excluding VAT. Bidders must demonstrate at least two comparable water-supply and/or sewerage projects completed in the previous five years, or provide the required hydraulic-works classification. The contractor must provide a competent technician and plumber throughout the works and comply with occupational safety, environmental and waste-management requirements. Before work starts, the contractor must submit, among other documents, a waste-management plan, a work schedule updated weekly, and a preliminary plan for site arrangements and safety.
