Disinfection and pest-control services, including pine processionary control in Frigiliana

Summary

The contract covers pest-control services in the municipality of Frigiliana and its municipal buildings for four years from contract signature. The work includes disinfection, insect control, rodent control and control of the pine processionary caterpillar, as well as an integrated pest-management plan intended to limit pest populations while reducing biocide use. Treatments will cover, among other places, sewers, public roads, parks, gardens and municipal buildings. For pine processionary control, 52 trees must be treated by endotherapy, with spraying or atomisation used in municipal pine stands. The service requires rodent-control treatments at least once per quarter, at least 3 cockroach treatments and 2 monitoring or follow-up treatments per year, and at least 3 inspections per year in municipal buildings. Incidents must be addressed within 5 calendar days, or within 48 hours in urgent cases. The contract lasts 4 years. According to the formal resolution, the estimated contract value and tender budget excluding VAT are €28,880, and the budget including VAT is €31,314.80. The contractor must be authorised to provide biocide services, use registered products, and provide qualified, properly protected staff, the necessary equipment and civil-liability insurance covering environmental risks. The service may not be subcontracted. The tender must comply with the technical and administrative requirements in the procurement documents.
