Improvements to Smuggler's Alley and Licenciado Paulo Emilio Street

Summary

The tender covers improvements to two street sections in Alcalá de los Gazules: Callejón del Contrabandista, extending Calle Montesa, and the final section of Calle Licenciado Paulo Emilio up to its junction with Calle Nuestra Señora de Los Santos. The works include creating a level street platform, renewing the paving, sewerage and water-supply networks, and improving stormwater drainage. In the alley, the contractor will install a 15 cm printed-concrete surface, a 315 mm PVC sewer, a 32 mm PE water pipe, two storm drains and an underground duct for future public-lighting cables. On Calle Licenciado Paulo Emilio, the works include a matching concrete surface, a 400 mm PVC sewer, a 110 mm PE water pipe and a full-width storm drain at the junction. Retaining walls will be repaired and painted at both locations; steps and unauthorised storage areas and planting beds obstructing access will be removed from the alley. The approximate work areas are 130 m² over 45 m in the alley and 310 m² over 55 m on the street. This is an open procedure for construction works, without lots. The estimated value is EUR 123,966.94 excluding VAT; the maximum budget is EUR 150,000 including 21% VAT. The works are to take six months, starting on the day after contract formalisation. Price is the sole award criterion, and no bid guarantee is required. Bids must be submitted electronically within 26 calendar days beginning on the day after publication of the contract notice. The successful bidder must provide a final guarantee equal to 5% of its offered price excluding VAT. Participation requires evidence of the specified financial and technical capacity and submission of the required declarations and price offer.
