Selection of bids for inter-factory road freight services

Summary

CETARSA is seeking road freight services for daily movements between its factories and logistics centres in Cáceres province. The goods include CETARSA-owned raw tobacco, auxiliary materials and empty containers, mainly between its sites in Talayuela and Navalmoral de la Mata; a working day may involve two or more centres. The volume depends on CETARSA’s needs, and CETARSA is not obliged to order any transport. The contract period is 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2027. Based on previous campaigns, the indicative volume is 260 services under tariff 10.1, with an estimated total value of EUR 107,900 excluding VAT. Bidders must submit fixed daily tariffs and a technical proposal, including details of at least two Euro 5-compliant trucks, each with a load capacity of at least 24.5 tonnes, and qualified drivers with at least 3 years’ experience. Trailers must be 13.5 m long, covered and easy to open from the side for loading, with at least 2.90 m of clear internal height. Valid transport permits and registrations, evidence of financial standing, cargo and liability insurance, and a EUR 3,000 pre-contract guarantee are also required. Price is evaluated; tariffs must remain fixed throughout the contract period, and transport assignments will generally give priority to companies offering lower tariffs. Bids must be submitted electronically in Spanish.
