Construction of the Parauta Car Park – Phase 1

Summary

The contract covers construction of the first phase of a public car park in Parauta, in the Málaga area. The works must follow the project and include, among other items, site preparation, foundations and structures, drainage and sewerage, masonry, roofing, insulation, installations, paving, quality control, waste management and health and safety measures. The contract is not divided into lots. The estimated value and tender budget are EUR 826,446.28 excluding VAT and EUR 1,000,000 including 21% VAT. The works must be completed within 11 months, with no extension. Payment is based on monthly certificates for completed work. Bids must be submitted electronically within 20 calendar days beginning the day after publication of the contract notice. Each bid must include a responsible declaration and a technical execution memorandum of no more than 10 pages, as well as a separate price offer and information for the automatically assessed criteria. The technical memorandum is worth up to 15 points, price up to 15 points, an extended warranty up to 20 points, final surveying and as-built drawings 5 points, and previous similar works experience up to 45 points. Relevant completed car park or public-building works must date from the last 10 years and be documented. Participation requires works-contractor classification Group C, Subgroup C-2, Category 3, and a suitably qualified site manager with at least two years of construction experience for the full works period. Delivery must comply with the project and tender requirements on quality, environmental protection, accessibility, health and safety, and traffic management. The successful bidder must provide, among other items, evidence of civil liability insurance and a 5% final guarantee; an additional 5% guarantee applies if an abnormally low bid is accepted as justified.
