Gardening and maintenance of green areas at healthcare facilities in Ontinyent

Summary

The contract covers the maintenance, upkeep and, where necessary, replacement of gardens, trees, plants and other fixed or movable landscaping features at Ontinyent’s new general hospital and the Ontinyent II and Ontinyent III health centres. The areas total approximately 8,745 m² and include terraces; the paths within the green areas must also be cleaned. Work includes pruning, mowing, weed and scrub removal, plant-health treatments, fertilising, replacing plants, and maintaining and optimising the irrigation system. Services include both preventive and corrective maintenance and must be carried out with due regard for the environment. The contract runs for three years from signature, with an option to extend it by one year. The estimated contract value is €160,994.19 excluding VAT (€194,802.96 including VAT). The bid must include a maintenance plan and schedule, and the offered price must not exceed the stated budget. Price is worth 60 points and the technical offer 40 points; bidders must score at least 20 technical points to continue. No provisional tender guarantee is required. Bidders must demonstrate annual turnover of at least €80,497 in gardening or similar services and provide the required quality and environmental-management certificates or equivalent evidence. The contractor must provide at least one full-time gardener, a part-time gardening supervisor and the required vehicles, machinery and tools. The successful bidder must maintain public-liability insurance providing at least €600,000 cover per claim.
