Renewal of network cabling at Retamares Base and EMAD facilities

Summary

The tender covers the renewal of the network infrastructure at Retamares Base and, if required, other EMAD facilities in the Madrid region. The contractor must supply and install fibre-optic and copper cabling for user points and links between buildings, including cables, outlets, panels and patch leads. The work also includes testing and certification of network links, labelling equipment and updating installation documentation. The works must be completed within 60 days from 1 January 2027 or, if later, from contract signature, and in any event before 30 November 2027. The budget is €229,831.32 including VAT (€189,943.24 excluding VAT). Bids are assessed on price (70 points) and technical enhancements (30 points); enhancements may include up to 100 additional copper and 100 additional fibre-optic user points. The contractor must provide a warranty of at least three years for the supplies and works.
