Life and accident insurance for ADIF employees

Summary

ADIF and ADIF Alta Velocidad are procuring life and accident insurance for their employees under a single open-order contract. Cover is to start on 1 January 2027. The initial contract term is 36 months, through 31 December 2029, with possible annual extensions totalling up to 24 months. The tender budget is €6,727,500, exempt from VAT; the estimated total contract value including extensions is €11,212,500. Bids must cover both types of insurance, and the compliant bid with the lowest price will win. Participation is limited to insurers holding the relevant authorisations. Bidders must demonstrate annual turnover of at least €3,363,750 and relevant insurance-service experience during the previous three years, with at least €1,569,750 in accumulated services in the year of greatest activity. A broker or intermediary must be designated, and the required confirmations on coverage and claims reporting must be submitted. Social employment and occupational safety conditions also apply during contract performance.
